PARADISUS, CALIFORNIA

CITY OVERVIEW.

Paradisus, California. Population approximately 200,000. It is located on the northern tip of the Vallejo Peninsula, not far from where San Francisco used to be, before it was covered in water, surrounded by three bodies of water: the Pacific Ocean to the west, the Vallejo Strait to the north, and the Bay of California to the east. Paradisus is one of the original Planned Urban Communities™ by the New American Government, and since its foundation in 2025, has seen a steady rise of population growth, business, and culture. This was helped along by the founding of the University of Paradisus in 2034, which made it a hotspot for scholars and intellectuals all along the new western seaboard. This made it the prime candidate for the Family Planning Experiment in 2051.

CITY MAP.
This space saved for the shitty map I haven't made yet.

DOWNTOWN PARADISUS.
"Your destination for food, shopping, and fun!"

Downtown Paradisus is an eclectic mix of architecture, varying from ultra-modern to show off the height of urban planning innovation to ornate art-nouveau designs, meant to preserve an old-world feel. The tallest buildings in the city are here, where residents can enjoy a big city feel with high-end restaurants and shopping, cinema, music and art venues, and museums.

Notable locations:

City Central Park - Lush greenery in the heart of the city, accentuated by public art meant to celebrate architecture from around the world, from Grecian to far Eastern and back again.

Dirty Don's Records - Vinyl and compact discs are in short supply these days, but Dirty Don's has both in spades. Not only does this store specialize in rare physical music, but it has a great array of snarky t-shirts and other novelty items for your inner hipster. Employee(s): Reese Cameron

FINANCIAL DISTRICT.
"The pulse of innovation or some such shit."

PARADISUS BEACH.
"Surf and turf!"

RESIDENTIAL AREAS.
"Urban planning at its best."

SCIENCE PARK.
"Nothing weird going on here."

THE UNIVERSITY.
"In paradiso, est profectus – Even in paradise, there is progress."
